ABOUT ME

Many years ago, I knew deep in my soul that my passion was teaching. I played school growing up with my sister, and she always had to be the student. I loved being the teacher. Growing up through middle and high school, I realized that traditional k-12 school was not exactly the thing I wanted to teach. Even though I had no clue what I would teach, I still knew in my gut, that I was meant to teach.

It wasn't until 2012 that my path started to become clear to me, and the I knew instantly during my very first yoga class, that it was the yoga practice that I would teach. So, on a journey I went.

I started my yoga practice in 2012 and could not stop. I loved being on my mat. I love the physical practice of yoga so much that I yearned to learn more. I studied and researched where and how to learn this ancient practice more in depth so that I could share with everyone around me. In 2016, I entered my very first yoga teacher training. It was a nine month program that taught me about the big universe around me and in me. I started to understand how this practice was teaching me and shaping me. I was changing and didn't even know how. I became a certified yoga teacher 200hr the same year. And went on the following year, and signed up for my advanced yoga teacher training. In a years time, I practiced many intensive trainings with so many practiced yogis in Asheville, NC. I studied everything from the Moon Path, children's Yoga, Trauma and PTSD, body mechanics and therapeutics, physical and subtle body anatomy, pranayama, mudras, meditation, and several different schools of yoga. I graduated that teacher training and am now a Yoga Certified E-RYT500. I went on to open my own yoga studio to teach students and teachers in hopes to share this beautiful healing practice and serve others. In 2020, I opened One Love Yoga School, where I structured and led my own 200hr yoga teacher training program.

I am here to heal and share the tools that I have been given. I believe that every experience that I have had, has given me tools to share with those around me.

I am real and raw. I cry. I am unapologetically me. I am here to bring a magnitude of women together around me. My hopes are to build a community where each individual can feel safe and supported in their journey of growth.

I hope that not only do I bring value in this community, but that we bring value to each other and make lasting soulful connections that last a lifetime.

Lots of Love, Angie
